This policy explains how SOFTWARECARAFT S.R.L. ("we") processes information when you use Shift & Salary, the website, advertising, analytics, and subscriptions.
Shift schedules, pay rates, overtime settings, holidays, and notification settings are stored locally on your device. We do not upload this content to our servers. Backup and export files leave the app only when you choose to save or share them.
The release version of the mobile app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to measure feature use, app reliability, advertising status, and subscription-flow performance so we can improve the product. Mobile-app analytics is separate from your advertising-personalization choice.
Firebase may process app events, an app-instance identifier, device and app information, and an approximate region inferred from the IP address. We do not send your name, email, shift content, pay rates, or salary amounts as analytics event parameters. Firebase advertising-identifier collection and analytics ad-personalization signals are disabled in our app configuration. See How Google uses information.
The free version can show Google AdMob interstitial ads before PDF export and multiple selection, after you confirm that you want to continue, and optional rewarded ads that temporarily unlock premium themes. Google may process device identifiers, IP address, ad interactions, diagnostics, and consent signals to provide, limit, and measure ads.
Ads are personalized only where permitted by your device settings and consent choices. The app uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) where required and keeps an "Ad privacy options" control in Settings when Google requires that entry point, so you can review or change those choices.
RevenueCat helps us manage Pro entitlements. RevenueCat and Apple or Google may process an app user identifier, product and transaction identifiers, subscription status, country/store information, and diagnostics. We do not receive your full payment-card details. Purchases are also governed by the store's privacy terms.
We disclose limited information to Google (Firebase Analytics, AdMob and UMP), RevenueCat, Apple, Google Play, and Netlify only to provide the services described above. We do not sell your personal data.
Depending on the processing and applicable law, our legal bases may include our legitimate interests in measuring, securing, and improving the app; consent for personalized advertising or storage that requires consent; performance of a contract for purchases and Pro access; and compliance with legal obligations. Accepting the Terms does not replace a separate consent required by law.
Local app data remains until you delete it, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. Google, RevenueCat, and the app stores retain service data under their own retention rules. We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and enforcement.
You can delete local data from the app or device, choose non-personalized ads in the app, manage Google ad consent through "Ad privacy options" when shown, control iOS tracking through system settings, and manage or cancel subscriptions from the app or your store account. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal data, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Our service providers may process information outside your country. Where required, they use recognized transfer safeguards.
The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the higher minimum age required locally). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child provided information.
The website is hosted by Netlify, which may process IP addresses, request headers, access logs, and security or diagnostic data when serving pages. The website uses optional Google Analytics only after you accept analytics cookies in the website consent banner. Your choice is stored locally in your browser and can be changed through "Cookie settings".
We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required.
